There also is the option to hide the cable. Even on a stone wall, we use a wall chasing machine, which cuts a groove in the stane, makes it possible to hide the cables. We strongly recommend using a double outlet for most scenarios, you’ll find it far more convenient, and the cost is virtually the same.
